Recently, the president and staff of Seven Sea, together with our valued supporters, visited an orphanage in Myanmar to deliver a donation.
Our visit coincided with the start of the new school term—a time when expenses for textbooks and school supplies increase significantly. The staff at the orphanage expressed their heartfelt gratitude, saying that the support came at a truly necessary moment.
The orphanage is home to children ranging from infants to high school students. However, due to the limited resources available through donations and government aid, many of the older children—those of elementary school age and above—are forced to work during the day to help sustain the facility. It is heartbreaking to witness a reality where children who should be learning and playing are instead burdened with labor.
This visit was made even more meaningful thanks to the generous support of Mr. Nagasawa, who traveled all the way from Okayama Prefecture in Japan. We would like to express our deepest appreciation for his kindness and contribution. His support will undoubtedly bring light and hope to the lives of these children.
At Seven Sea, we remain committed to doing our part in building a society where all children have access to proper meals, education, and the chance to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment.
